No smoking, vaping or heating cannabis in beer gardens, on restaurant terraces or at folk festivals, and Bavaria's fines are among the highest.

Selling and buying
No shops: buying is only legal through licensed non-profit clubs. Selling or buying on the street is a crime.

At the wheel
Limit 3.5 ng/ml of THC: €500, a one-month ban and 2 points. Zero for drivers under 21 and on probation.
